96 GPZ 1100

HI EVERYONE IM FROM AUSTRALIA NEW TO THE SITE BACK RIDING AFTER 20 YEARS .BOY IT GOOD RIDING AGAIN. I HAVE GOT A 96 1100 47K ON IT.DONE 1000K ON IT WHEN I FOUND IT HAD A COLLAPED BEARING NO3. TAKEN IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND SAID IT WILL COST 2500 GRAND TO FIX.
NEEDS A NEW CRANK, ROD, SHELLS ETC. THANK GOD FOR WARRANTIES.IN WORK SHOP FOR 8 WEEKS AND FINELY GETTING IT THIS WEEK. LETS HOPE ITS SMOOTH RIDING FROM HERE.CHEERS

Hope you got your bike back all fixed and are now enjoying it :0)

Seems there is sometimes an issue with no 3 main bearings going on GPZ1100 and ZX1100 (same bottom end), think it could be related to running with low oil level, so might be a good idea to keep an eye on the oil level ;0)
